As Manager of Commercial Real Estate for the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Katie Rothenberg acts as the primary liaison to the office and industrial market segments within the broader commercial real estate market. She assists office and industrial building owners, developers, managers, tenants, and investors with the adoption and implementation of the LEED Green Building Rating Systems. This includes responsibility for the development of programs and tools specific to these markets as well as speaking at conferences to provide education on green building practices and the triple-bottom-line.
Prior to joining USGBC, Katie worked for two Washington, DC-based real estate development firms, focusing on retail and mixed-use acquisitions and development on the East Coast. Katie is a graduate of both the University of Colorado at Boulder (BS – Finance) and The University of Denver (MBA – Real Estate).
