John Chamberlain

John Chamberlain is vice president at Capital One Bank and leads its New Market Tax Credit efforts. He has 19 years experience in banking and finance and has been involved in the NMTC program for the last five. Capital One has invested approximately $410 million in NMTC structured investments through its CDE, Capital One Community Renewal Fund, as well as 13 other CDEs throughout the country. Prior to joining Capital One, Mr. Chamberlain was a director at Stonehenge Capital’s subsidiary, Stonehenge Community Development, a two time NMTC allocatee with $202 million in allocations through Round 4. Prior to Stonehenge, Mr. Chamberlain was a portfolio manager at Enhanced Capital Partners, a venture capital company focused on making equity and debt investments in disadvantaged businesses. He currently sits on the board of two privately held companies and the Louisiana Technology Fund, which focuses on investing in LA-based technology companies. Mr. Chamberlain received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Louisiana Tech University and his MBA in Management and Finance from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.
