Andrew Steggles is the President of the not-for-profit Social Networking and Media Association (SNAMA), a professional association dedicated to advancing the social web. Mr. Steggles is also the Chief Operating Officer & Social Strategist for Higher Logic, LLC, a social media software platform provider which specializes in the non-profit and association market.

Mr. Steggles is also a board member of the New York Society of Association Executives (NYSAE) and a serving member of the ASAE Membership Council.

For 10 years Mr. Steggles was also the Chief Information Officer for the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing the practice of risk management, a professional discipline that protects physical, financial, and human resources.

Mr. Steggles first became involved with the social web in 2004, after launching a holiday home rental network of websites, the most popular being www.holidayhomerental.co.uk which boasts over 20,000 rental properties spread throughout the UK and is represented by over 200,000 pages of user generated content. He’s expertise in search engine technologies lead him to be an early adopter of social technologies as a recognized way of improving organic search results providing measurable return on investment. Since this time, Steggles has built several recognized social tools, including sitePRTracker (a performance measurement tool for Google's Page Ranking system), CopyTester (a content scorer which measures and grades the uniqueness of content) and eGroups software (a hybrid of both forums and listserv technologies, but also takes advantage of other key social ingredients such as blogs and wikis)

Over the past 4 years, Steggles has become a recognized consultant in the social web space and has consulted with several high profile associations, including InfoComm International, the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), CoreNet Global and the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics.

Mr. Steggles is a clear thought leader in the newly evolving area of social technologies and is a gifted speaker on the subject. More recently, he has received great feedback for his workshops, webinars and other types of presentations on how to “Think Social” and how to “Recognize Return on Engagement (ROE)”.
