Eileen Frazier, as the Chief Operating Officer of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, has almost 20 years of experience with more than 10 years at Federation in the areas of financial and operational management. Mrs. Frazier oversees staff of over 40 professionals in the areas of finance and accounting, facilities and operations, information technologies, human resources and security.
She is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, developing policies and procedures and implementing cost controls as well as for organizational banking relationships and cash management including managing the organization’s line of credit, letter of credit and its investments. Mrs. Frazier manages the Federation’s United Jewish Endowment Fund governance processes and provides staff leadership for various operating committees including the pension committee, investment committee, budget committee and the audit committee. She is the primary liaison with the organization’s corporate counsel.
In addition to her operating responsibilities, Mrs. Frazier provides staff leadership for all major organizational events, most notably, a major festival commemorating Israel’s 60th birthday held on the National Mall during the summer of 2008 drawing about 50,000 attendees. She was instrumental in working with Charity Navigator to allow her organization to garner the prestigious 4 star rating and was awarded the CFO Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008.
