Arun Sardana, CIMA
UBS Institutional Consulting
As one of the Institutional Consultants at a global financial services firm, Arun Sardana works with nonprofit institutions and their Investment Committees to help design investment policies, spending & reserve policies, and risk management strategies using sophisticated modeling techniques. Arun is focused on serving the investment consulting needs of non-profit organizations through prudent practices and proven strategies.

He is co-founder of NPO Cooperation Circle©, a peer-to-peer knowledge network which is exclusively dedicated to providing a knowledge-based networking forum for the non-profit leadership in the Washington Metropolitan area. Arun has served on ASAE’s Finance Issues Committee and is an active member of the Finance & Administration Section Council. He has been a featured speaker on Investment Policy Design, Asset Allocation Modeling, Transparency in Reporting, Managing Risk in Uncertain Markets, and other topics organized by organizations such as AICPA, American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), Financial & Accounting Roundtable (FAR), and Council On Foundation (COF). Most recently he was Chair of the FBOS 2009 Planning Committee.

Arun has been a licensed Advisor for over 14 years. He received his Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation from The Wharton School & Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) and his MBA from The Johns Hopkins University.
