It is within a two block walk of the Woodley Park / Zoo Metro Station (on the Red Line). Valet Parking is available at the hotel for a fee of $35/day. The program is designed by nonprofit CPA experts and is intended for CPAs working on Nonprofit Engagements, as well as CFOs, Controllers, and Finance Directors of Nonprofit Organizations. There are no prerequisites for attendance other than a keen interest in or experience with nonprofit organizations.
20 CPE Credits are available in a flexible format, allowing you to personalize your educational experience with seminars in Tax, Audit/Accounting, Management, and Ethics categories. This program qualifies for credit with DC, Maryland, Virginia and also with the states of New York (Sponsor #002456) and Pennsylvania (Sponsor #PX177796).) Credit Certification forms will be distributed & collected after 3:00 pm on the second day of the conference. Most state boards of accountancy accept GWSCPA's programs for CPE credit, but check with your local state board to determine eligibility. All sessions are offered in a group-live format. The program Level for all sessions at this conference is: Update.

Sunday Evening, December 15 GWSCPA will be hosting a special 2 hour Bonus CPE session on Fraud featuring nationally-known expert David Cotton. That will be followed by a series of small-group networking options, including a Zoo Lights tour, networking dinners, and a Sunday Night Football party.

Due to the Symposium's limited seating and popularity, we do NOT offer one-day passes to the program. We do, however, make a 'shared registration' available (to split a registration with a fellow professional on two different days) for 50% of the fee per person, PLUS a $50 additional materials fee per person.
There is no specific dress code for the conference, attendees typically are in traditional business or smart business casual attire.
All registrations should be received by GWSCPA on or before December 2, 2013.
Cancellation by registrant/refund policy
If you are unable to attend the Symposium please notify GWSCPA as soon as possible. The cancellation and refund schedule is as follows:
100% refund minus $100 processing fee until October 1, 2013
75% refund until October 20, 2013
50% refund until November 10, 2013
After November 10, not refunds will be issued.
